On January 23, 2025, the HiLASE Centre in Dolní Břežany hosted an engaging full-day workshop titled “Funding Opportunities & Grant Writing.” The event brought together an international community of 42 researchers from diverse nationalities and disciplines, creating a unique platform for collaboration and learning. Participants included experts from prestigious institutions such as HiLASE, ELI Beamlines, the Astronomical Institute, and the National Institute of Mental Health.
The event featured a lineup of distinguished speakers who provided valuable insights into funding mechanisms and effective grant writing strategies:

The workshop aimed to equip researchers with tools and knowledge to navigate the complex world of grant funding, particularly under the Horizon Europe Programme. The workshop also included opportunities for participants to connect during a guided tour of the HiLASE Centre and an afternoon networking session, fostering international collaboration and multidisciplinary partnerships.
