General description
VALEO AUTOKLIMATIZACE k.s. is part of Valeo, French global automotive supplier headquartered in France. Valeo has been investing in the Czech Republic for 25 years, continuously creating highly qualified jobs. Valeo is a key player in the Czech automotive industry not only in production but also in research, and at the same time one of the largest employers in Central Bohemia. It has 4,000 employees at six of its sites (R&D centre included). The Czech R&D centre is focused on the creation of new technologies to improve the automotive industry, on developing new automotive technologies and finding solutions that meet and anticipate market demands, promote intuitive and safer driving, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions (such as CO²) and pollution. Valeo works to promote diversity in all its forms (gender, disability, social and cultural, generational) through local policies and actions, mentoring and training programs, networks and partnerships.
Key research infrastructure
- Valeo has top quality equipment which includes perfect laboratories, HIL simulators and two own test tracks (high-speed test track for driving assistance systems). A smaller one is located in Prague, the bigger one is settled in Milovice in the Central Bohemia Region.
