Cartography and Geographical Information Systems of the Technical University of Košice is a scientific and pedagogical workplace providing education of graduates eligible for the tasks of geodesy, cartography and land registry, as well as graduates capable of fulfilling demanding requirements of industrial practice, including mining industry. Research at the institute focuses mainly on the field of geodesy, engineering geodesy, land registry, photogrammetry, remote earth exploration and geoinformatics.
